What does it cost to talk to a broker about selling my business?
There is no cost to a consultation, and ask me about a broker's opinion of value. Fees are earned on a success-fee basis, so you only pay when your business sells.
How is my sale kept confidential?
Your staff, customers and vendors hear nothing without your approval. Buyers are screened and sign a nondisclosure agreement before they receive identifying details, and marketing materials describe the business without naming it.
What is my business worth?
Value depends on earnings, how steady they are, how much depends on the owner, customer concentration, and how clean the financials are. The only way to get a real number is a broker's opinion of value using your actual numbers.
How long does it take to sell a business?
It depends on the business, the buyer, and how ready your records are. Preparation, buyer screening, due diligence and financing drive the timeline more than anything else.
What are the steps in the sale process?
